Please note: Some certification boards may not accept online training towards certification. As the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) is not able to reach out to individual boards, that responsibility is up to the individual participant.
Through our partnership with the Government of Alberta and the Ministry of Mental Health and Addiction, the cost of the program is completely covered for approved individuals. This ensures that those who are committed to making a difference in the field of addiction recovery can access the training they need without financial barriers.
Applicants must be legally able to work with the vulnerable sector (pass a vulnerable sector check) and, if in recovery, must have a minimum of 18 months in recovery.
