Additional Virtual Programs Offered by RCAC

Courses include:

• Recovery Coaching in the Emergency Department (12 hrs)
• Recovery Coaching in Justice Settings (12 hrs)
• Spirituality and Recovery Coaching (12 hrs)
• Recovery Coach Academy (30 hrs) *a virtual version of our in-person program

Please note: This course content is approved by the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors.

Cost

Through our partnership with the Government of Alberta and the Ministry of Mental Health and Addiction, the cost of the program is completely covered for approved individuals. This ensures that those who are committed to making a difference in the field of addiction recovery can access the training they need without financial barriers.

Applicants must be legally able to work with the vulnerable sector (pass a vulnerable sector check) and, if in recovery, must have a minimum of 18 months in recovery.
