This 30-hour, five-day in-person training is an intensive first step for aspiring Recovery Coaches, offering a deep, immersive introduction to the field. Throughout the week, participants will engage in meaningful and challenging discussions, both as a cohort and in small groups, encouraging vulnerability, authenticity, and self-reflection. While this training is foundational, it is designed to be thorough, emotionally engaging, and transformative. Through our partnership with the Government of Alberta and the Ministry of Mental Health and Addiction, the cost of the program is completely covered for approved individuals. This ensures that those who are committed to making a difference in the field of addiction recovery can access the training they need without financial barriers.
Applicants must be legally able to work with the vulnerable sector (pass a vulnerable sector check) and, if in recovery, must have a minimum of 18 months in recovery.
